Meet Dr. Jackson Owen, DDS
Dr. Jackson Owen believes strong dental care begins with trust, communication, and understanding each patient's individual needs.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Owen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Continuing education remains an important part of his approach to dentistry. Dr. Owen regularly participates in advanced dental training to stay current with evolving techniques, technology, and treatment options.

40+ Years — The Practice Begins
Dr. William Hyden established the original practice around a commitment to quality dental care and lasting relationships with patients.
2014 — Dr. Owen Becomes Practice Owner
After working closely with Dr. Hyden for several years, Dr. Owen purchased the practice in July 2014 and continued its patient-centered approach to care.
2017 — The Practice Expands
Spicewood Dental expanded when Dr. Owen took over the neighboring practice of Dr. Mollie Kentor.
2024 — Welcoming Dental Arts by Lena Patients
Following Dr. Lena Salha's retirement, Spicewood Dental welcomed patients from Dental Arts by Lena to help provide continuity of care.
